I had visited Cuidad Patricia a couple of times socially about 4 years ago with my husband. When I lost my husband it was felt that I needed somewhere else to live. So, after discussion with the family it was agreed that it would be best to live here in Ciudad Patricia.
After a great afternoon with Amanda showing me around the village, I decided to spend a week at the Christmas period, to get a feel of the place. After that week here I was sure of what and where I wanted to be. So, 7 months ago I made the move, with the help of my amazing family.
I like the fact that you can live independently in your own apartment but if you would like to have company, you only have to go to the coffee bar and you can have a chat with other like minded people. Everyone is very friendly, it has wonderful social activities if you wish to take part. The staff are really kind and very helpful.
There’s medical help if you should need it.
The gardens are beautiful for taking walks through. One of the nicest things is, it’s so quiet. The family now have no worries regarding my safety and with my own little garden and a great south-west facing balcony, I am so happy to be here.
I’m thankful to all of the staff, gardeners, maintenance and reception, for making my move her, the best thing I could possibly have done. Having a garage to keep my car safe from the elements too, is wonderful.
